MTG Starts Accepting Registration for MCFKTP 2005 Qualifying Examination

The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG) wishes to invite all elementary grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils and high school students from first to fourth year to join the 2005-2006 MTG Mathematical Challenge For Filipino Kid Training Program (MCFKTP) 2005. It is through this program that we recruit participants and send them to different international math contests such as Po Leung Kuk Primary Mathematics World Contest(Hong Kong), China Primary/Junior High School Math Olympiad, Invitational World Youth Mathematics Intercity Competition(TAiwan), and the American Region Mathematics League(USA).
For the elementary level, pupil must be born not earlier than September 1, 1992. For the high school level, he/she must be born not earlier than August 15, 1989.
Interested schools who wish that taheir students take the qualifying exam must do the following:

1. Send a LETTER of INTENT to take the Qualifying Examination to the MTG Center Coordinator nearest your school.
2. Upon submission of the Letter of Intent to the center coordinator, register using the format of the registration form below:

The registration fee for the Qualifying Exams is thirty (P30.00) pesos to cover the expenses for test materials, honorarium for proctors and other expenses, which will incur during the administration of the examination. Registration starts on June 18, 2005 and ends on July 15, 2005.2. The schedule for the Qualifying Examination is on July 23, 2005. The venue of the examination will be announced during registration period.
